I met some of Rachel’s friends for dinner and they were really amazing women. If I didn’t *heart* Rachel with my whole heart, I just might have fallen for one of them.
I told them about my love for Rachel, and they agreed to help me in any way they could, which was so sweet of them! I told them about this blog, and they said they would come visit. *kisses to the TARflies*
They invited me to join them, and even shared their food with me - all different types of pasta.

After that, they ordered this amazing dessert called The Titanic, which they told me was a really big boat.

I tried some and it was really good (mmm, chocolate), but pretty soon my little tummy was really full. I’m not sure if pandas are supposed to eat ice cream after all…

Hopefully I’ll be feeling better tomorrow, because these ladies told me that more TARflies will be arriving then for the big parties. I’m sure that my Rachel will be here - only one more day!

I don’t know why New Yorkers decided to name their city after a piece of fruit, but I’m just a stuffed panda, so what do I know? It is a huge city, and there’s so much to see!
My first stop was at the hotel, and I convinced them to give me a room of my own, with curtains to climb and everything!

I love running and climbing trees, but I thought it might be faster to explore on one of these:

Now if only I could reach the handlebars, I would have been set!
Since that wasn’t going to work, I caught a ride on one of the famous yellow cabs. We drove up and down the streets, and I had to hold on *really tightly* when the driver started swerving between cars, but Rachel was nowhere to be found. :-(

It’s nearly time for dinner, and I know that some of the TARflies will be eating together - maybe Rachel will be there! Wish me luck!!!

I spent three whole days exploring DC, but couldn’t find Rachel anywhere. I decided that it was time to move on and caught a ride to New York City this morning.

Rachel loves watching The Amazing Race, and I knew that a bunch of her friends were gathering in NYC to watch the final episode of the Race. Rachel had promised her friends that she would try and make it this year, so I decided that I had to be there to meet her when she arrived.

The New York system is a bit more complicated than the one in DC, but I’ll do anything to see Rachel!

I knew that I couldn’t hang around the zoo for long, so I headed for the Metro, ready to begin my search.

I knew that there were a few TARflies nearby, since they had come to visit me several times. I was pretty sure that one of them would help me in my quest to find Rachel. DariaG was the first that I visited, and she was willing to let me stay at her home. I made friends with Miss Priss

and Eddie helped me keep watch, in case anyone had followed me.
They were all friendly but without Rachel I just couldn’t be content, so I set out again on my quest.

I found a spaceship and thought about circling the Earth looking for Rachel, but with no trees to climb and only freeze-dried food to eat, it didn’t look like it was designed for pandas.
I did find some bamboo to eat, though, which was nice because I was starting to get hungry.

I kept searching and searching, and even snuck into the Canadian Embassy, but Rachel was nowhere to be found.

There were so many visitors at the zoo that day, and so many stuffed pandas that I decided to take a chance and hitch a ride with an imposter that was heading towards the gates.

Sometimes the best strategy is to hide in plain sight.
Almost there!

I’m free!!!!
