Harry Carrie and Garp – August 2ndAugust 6
While reading posts at TARflies, I noticed that M. Darcy was going to NY to attend a reading with JK Rowling, John Irving and Stephen King. Since I know how much Rachel loves Harry Potter, I asked her if I could go with her just in case Rachel showed up.
She said I could take the train with her but since she was trying to save money for her fall trip to Italy (she said if I was a good bear, I could go with her!), she wasn’t going to buy me my own train ticket. Instead, she hid me in her backback.
When we got to NY, we stayed at the favorite hotel of TARflies – the New Yorker. Here I am resting after the trip.
You probably noticed that I am not wearing my I *heart* Rachel button. Since it was so very very hot, I decided not to wear any clothes. I am such a naughty bear! But I hope Rachel recognizes me at the event without my button.
Well, I’m back now.
Sadly, I didn’t see Rachel at Radio City. But there were just so many people, I probably just didn’t see her. The search continues!
After New York, I went back to M. Darcy’s to see if she got any new Ugly Dolls. Of course, she did.
