Rome with M. DarcyNovember 26

Well, since I haven’t been successful in North America, when I heard M. Darcy was going to Rome I thought I’d try my luck in Europe. Since airline tickets are very expensive, M. Darcy hid me away in her luggage.

There is lots and lots of walking in Rome so M. Darcy was kind enough to carry me around in her purse.

Our first day there was Sunday. Here I am at the Spanish Steps - there are lots of lots of expensive stores there.

Our next stop was the Pantheon

and then we went to the Piazza Navana - I am in front of the Fontano del Nuttuno.

We then walked (lots and lots of walking!) to the Trevi Fountain. M. Darcy and I threw in our coins, just like the song!

On Monday we went to the Vatican. Here are M. Darcy and me in front of Apollo Belvedere.

I asked the Swiss Guards if they had seen Rachel but they hadn’t.

On our way to the Forum I thought I saw Keifer (Rachel likes him a lot, hopefully not as much as she likes me) and wanted to ask him but it was only a picture.

We then went to the Forum.

When we were there, I heard M. Darcy saying the Friends Romans Countrymen speech so I said it too.

We also saw the Coliseum.

Don’t I look small in this one?

I look more normal in this one.

On Tuesday, M. Darcy went shopping so I stayed behind in the room to hang out with the Harrods Christmas Bear she bought at Heathrow. We had a party in the room.

Wednesday we had to go back home.

Even though I was sad I couldn’t find Rachel, I had a great time. Maybe I’ll try Asia next.
