So, while the other me was off cuddling Rachel (some stuffed pandas have all the luck), I was stuck in a suitcase in miri’s house. She kept telling me it was okay to come out and explore, but every time I peeped out, I saw an evil, evil cat waiting to gobble me up. So, back into the suitcase I’d go.
One day, miri decided I needed to get out and about, so she took me over to her friend Jess’s house. We were all going to go see a kite festival in town. That sounded like fun!
Turns out, the Lobster of Love lives at Jess’s house and he took a liking to me. I must say, the feelings weren’t mutual.

miri and Jess finally got around to rescuing me. I think they took their own sweet time, though!
Anyway, as it turns out, you have to get at the kite fest very, very, very early to get a parking place. The ladies couldn’t find a place to park and the line for the shuttle bus went around the block, so they decided kite watching wasn’t that important.

After the big party, lucinator saw how sad I was and asked what was wrong. I told her that I was worried that I was never going to meet Rachel! But then she gave me the best news ever: she was going to Toronto, Rachel’s hometown! I was so happy!
Lucinator and I flew from New York to Toronto. When we got there, I wanted make sure I looked my very best before I met Rachel so I scrubbed myself clean!

The next day, lucinator arranged to meet Rachel, Loraxe and PButtercup for dinner. I would finally get to meet my one true love! To make the moment extra special, I decided to hide in a gift bag so Rachel would be surprised to see me!

Seeing the look on her face made it all worthwhile! Then she started to shower me with kisses!

I was in heaven! We were together at last!

I’m so happy that I’m finally with Rachel! Every now and then, I reminisce about the wonderful people I met and places I saw in my search for her. Fortunately, I have a twin who can continue the adventures while I enjoy cuddling with Rachel!

The day after the big party, some friends tried to cheer me up by taking me to…the subway? I mean, seriously, what is wrong with these people? Did they think a panda with my exquisite taste would be interested in sad little subway sculptures? They tried to pass it off as an amusement park. I was not amused.
I did my best to play along…including doing a big foot impersonation and taking a ride.

Do you think Rachel will be impressed by my big feet?

Okay, listen. I know it’s been forever since I’ve posted on my blog. I’m sorry. You’d think that now that there are two of me, there’d be twice as many posts. It’s been a strange year – but more on that later.
Last December, Rachel’s friends gathered for yet another party in New York. Since I know NY like the back of my paw now, I thought I’d go hang out with them and hope Rachel would show up.
First, was the traditional lunch. I had invited a few new friends – Baby Panda, Mei Mei and Big Ass Fan. First, we had to check in.

Then we signed some cards for people who couldn’t be there.

Big Ass Fan seemed to have developed a bit of a crush on me and used Baby Panda to help him get a kiss.

No offense, Big Ass Fan, but I’m not much of an Ass panda.
We helped people check in and then acted as official greeters. So many fun people! It was great seeing old friends and making new ones.

(Okay, I admit it - at first I had thought of disappearing in wtf’s lovely dimples…but they were so far away, so I settled for something else.)

I like Al, but he scared me when he decided to juggle me!

At some point, people decided we needed to pose with the table full of Crumplers – many TARflies are obsessed with Crumplers. We are not Crumpler accessories, people!

It was a fun lunch, but no Rachel. I was so sad, I didn’t even go to the big party that night.
